Low Cloud Point Glycol

A glycol-based drilling-fluid conditioner for low-to-medium salinity systems and lower-temperature operating conditions. It is used to improve shale and wellbore stability while also supporting lubricity and filtration control in water-based drilling-fluid programs.

Used in: Low-to-medium salinity water-based drilling fluids; lower-temperature drilling conditions.

Why it is used: To stabilize reactive formations, improve lubricity and help control filtrate while reducing dilution and bit-balling tendencies.
