Alcohol Based Defoamer

A blend of alcohol-based components formulated to knock down and control foam in water- and brine-based fluid systems. It is useful where entrained air or persistent foam affects mixing, pumping, tank capacity, fluid measurement or general handling efficiency.

Used in: Water/brine drilling muds; brine-based completion and workover fluids.

Why it is used: To rapidly reduce unwanted foam and improve fluid handling, mixing and operational stability.
