Biocide (Triazine Based)

A triazine-based treatment used in water-based drilling and low-salinity clear brine systems. In addition to controlling bacterial growth, this chemistry can contribute to hydrogen-sulphide control in suitable applications, making it useful where both microbial activity and sour-gas concerns are present.

Used in: Water-based drilling muds; low-salinity clear brine fluids; selected oilfield water systems.

Why it is used: To suppress bacterial growth while also providing supplementary H2S-scavenging functionality.
